A delicious journey for all your senses The House of Food Porn is a truly unique experience from beginning to end. We had the 8 course tasting and it was perfect. Chef Franco, Nicky and Natalia made our dinner seem like a dream. Each dish is a surprise to put in your mouth, enjoy and then guess and find out which ingredients and magic make your tasting buds travel around the world. The wine and drinks paired with the dishes are absolutely delightful.

The locale has a unique and unforgettable design. Nicky is the perfect host. And Chef Franco truly enjoys cooking and sharing his love for food with others. It is an absolute joy to see him prepare the dishes and Nicky and Natalia took care of all the small details that make a dining experience perfect. They even send you home with an after dinner gift so you know you did not imagine the whole experience in your dreams.

Food Porn is indeed the best way to describe this experience. Our dining mates were awesome, hailing from UK, the Dominican Republic and several parts of Florida. We will definitively be back for more…

The Best Dining Experience From the minute you walk in to the minute you walk out Nicky makes you feel like family. No detail is spared in giving you the best dining experience anywhere. House of Food Porn is absolutely a five star experience. Chef Franco’s spin on sushi is unmatched. The food is amazing and you won’t find it anywhere else. The intimate setting just adds to the event. By the end of the evening you will be friends with all those dining with you. We eat at nice restaurants frequently but this is completely different…one of a kind! Great for couples or a group. You will absolutely agree with me. Put this at the top of your South Florida dining experiences. You will talk about it for months!!

The restaurant only sits around 12 people so it's very intimate and personalized. We did the 5 course tasting menu. Everything served is basically bite sized concoctions of food meant to resemble a sushi roll but without the raw fish component. Very unique experience definitely worth checking it out!!!

I went for the first time to (House of food Porn) about a month ago. I must say I was blown away!!!!
I didnt know what to expect with the name Lol, but much to my surprise I was truly taken back with the level of professional service and quality of cuisine. Chef Frank and his wonderful assistant Nicky truly know how to make you feel at home and part of all the magic ShuShi has to offer. I had such an amazing time with his food and service I hired him for my Bday party and WOW!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!! again the food was beyond on point and he service impeccable!!!!!

Great food, great energy One of our best nights ever in Miami. HOFP is an amazing gem tucked in a tough neighborhood - there’s a Checkers across the street, so it’s not exactly a hub for fine dining. But Chef Frank is an artist, his “shushi” is like nothing you’ve ever tasted, his wife Nicky is an awesome hostess, and you feel like you’re having an incredible meal at a friend’s home.

I don’t want to give too much away because the less you know going in the more mind-blowing it is, but basically Frank turns all kinds of delicious meat and seafood and other super-high-quality ingredients into flavor-explosion rolls that look like sushi and taste like heaven. He visits the communal table after each roll to explain what you just ate - he lets you guess first, but I hardly got anything right. Doesn’t matter, it’s all delicious - and fun. There were Cuban-inspired rolls, Korean-inspired rolls, Kobe beef rolls, all kinds of crazy fusion. The perfect place for a special occasion.

Out Of This World! I am not one to leave reviews , but with this amazing restaurant experience and the food that I am still day dreaming about, I just had to share the love for all my fellow trip advisors. Your Miami experience will not be complete until you eat at House of Food Porn. Friday was my first time eating there (my boyfriend has eaten here before and knew he had to bring me.) Franky and Nicky honestly made me feel like family. This was a such a genuine and unique dining experience. Nicky makes Bloody Mary shots out of this world and Franky, OMG, he have the hands of a god with the food he creates. Don’t believe me? Go and you will see exactly what I mean. Can’t wait to go again! You guys rock ! 😋🏡🍢👅

Amazing dining experience This was truly a one of a kind dining experience. It was worth every penny!!!! The owners made us feel like family. I'm a very detail oriented person and they went above and beyond. I don't want to give too much away, you just have to go. We will DEFINITELY be back

Simply the best The.best.eating.experience.ever.

We have been to many top tier restaurants around the world, including Noma, and no restaurant touches HoFP. The atmosphere, food, service and experience are just unheard of in todays restaurant industry. From the initial text from Nicky to the last we felt like family.

The max seating is ten people and by the end of the meal you feel like you’ve known those people your entire life.

We did the eleven course meal and it was fantastic. Chef Franco is a culinary genius. After each roll he asks his guests what we think is in it, then shocks us all when we really find out. Just a 10/10 all the way around.

Definitely Uber because it isn’t in the best neighborhood plus drinks are flowing.

I really can’t wait to go back and I highly recommend you do as well. It won’t be long until the wait list to get in this place is months long. It’s that good.

BEST Dining Experience - MUST VISIT! Phenomenal experience! We came across House of Food Porn on yelp, read the reviews and decided we had to try this place out for ourselves! We were celebrating our 5 year anniversary, upon arrival we were greeted by name and welcomed by the biggest smile and hug. Nicky walked us over to our seats where we found the nicest and most detailed anniversary setup. We booked the 8 course option, and I'm so happy that we did! Highly recommend you get the 8 course. We've been to lots of fine dining restaurants, amazing steak houses and reputable restaurants but nothing and I mean nothing compares to what you experience at House of Food Porn. We are not wine drinkers but we really enjoyed their delicious wine, oh and your glass is never empty. Chef Frankie comes out, introduces himself and talks a little about what inspired him to create these amazing "shushi" rolls. Every single thing we ate that night tasted like a piece of heaven on earth, we couldn't decide which of the rolls were our favorite. We loved how Chef Frankie played the guessing game with us, made it fun! He'd make a roll let us eat and then we'd have to guess what was in the shushi roll. You can taste Chef Frankie's passion for his creations in each bite you take, he combines so many unique flavors! And let's not forget Nicky's "Jamaican me crazy" drink, WOW! The whole time you feel like you're a guest in there home and they make you feel like family. We can't wait to go back with our friends! It's a once in a lifetime experience that should be experienced more than one time.

My best dining experience! This is the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had! What an amazing experience! I can’t think of a better culinary evening. The food, the individualized care and attention, the showmanship and the intimacy were unique. There are no places like this out there. I would fly back to Miami just to dine here again. The rolls were authentic and the combination of flavors was simply genius. I loved the setup, it’s like being in a classy dream. The Chef’s storytelling and engagement as he described how he carefully designed each roll just for me was truly amazing. Nicky, on the other hand, diligently made sure nothing was amiss managing the whole experience while the artist created his masterpieces. I told my boyfriend that this was the best NYE dinner I’ve ever had; a truly beautiful unforgettable evening, filled with warm deliciousness and awesomeness. I know I won’t be able to fully express how I felt and still feel from this experience, but I’ll simply say that I felt touched, moved... it made me feel loved and very special.

A one-of-a-kind, delicious experience! I can't say enough good things about House of Food Porn! My fiance booked our reservation for a celebratory dinner the evening we got engaged. From the time we walked through our door and were greeted with a rose by the hostess, we knew this was not a typical dining experience. From the customized table decor to the conversations with the chef about each course to the excellent hospitality (my wine glass never got below half full!), this is truly a special dining experience that should be at the top of your list when in Miami. The "Shushi" was unbelievable - such creative tastes and each dish looked like a work of art. We have told all of our friends and family about HOFP and can't wait to go back next time we're in Miami. One of a kind experience - MUST VIST! We went to the House of Food Porn for our 7yr anniversary and I have to say, this place lives up to its name! Not only was the food absolutely unique and amazing, but Nikki and Chef Frank are two of the most genuine and welcoming people you will ever meet. From the minute we walked in the door, we were treated as VIPs. If you are looking for an above and beyond 5 star dining experience, this is the place for you.

We chose to do the 8 course dinner and I’m so glad that we did. We’ve never experienced ShuShi before and the flavors that Chef Frank packs into a roll are incredible. What makes it even better is that after each course, he lets you guess what was in the ShuShi before telling you. It is a very personal and very interactive experience. Would definitely recommend taking an uber though because their house wine is delicious, lethal, and never ending!

It was a one of a kind experience that we will always remember, and one that we will certainly be returning for. Thank you Nikki and Chef Frank for an unbelievable night!

The best dining experience in Miami!!! My boyfriend and I traveled all the way to Miami for his birthday, and his birthday dinner here was the highlight of our trip! First of all, being from Chicago, the location of this restaurant was not as "sketch" as other reviewers make it seem. I think everyone needs to toughen up a bit because I felt extremely safe the entire time. I was certainly charmed as soon as I saw the "House of Food Porn" sign on the door! Nikki, our host, made us feel completely at home as soon as we walked in. There were only 10 other people in the restaurant, and the round table environment really encouraged a sense of community and friendship which added to a fantastic meal. Being from Chicago, I was having a lot of trouble our entire trip dealing with the heat, and the wine+sunburn+bit of a hangover made me feel extremely faint (which is something I deal with all the time it's unrelated to the restaurant or the food) however I was never treated with such kindness at a restaurant! As soon as Nikki found out I felt faint/hot she brought me out a large ice pack and two small cups of ice! The other couples told me to put the ice on my pressure points and I soon felt as good as new! Honestly, this small act of kindness went a long way and prompted me to write this review. I was worried about pre-paying, for a restaurant I had never been to in a city I had never visited, but please do. Trust Chef Franco he is fantastic and every flavor combination I had was incredible. This is the perfect place to bring your significant other for a birthday, and my boyfriend cannot stop talking about what a great time we had there. Give them all of your money! You cannot find this level of excellence anywhere and the atmosphere and service is something I have never seen done so well before!

Excellent ShuShi, great atmosphere If you are open to new tastes, love delicious (and unique) food bites, are curios to get to know the chef and all these in a cosy, home - like atmosphere with just a couple of interesting people around you, then this is the place for you.

I celebrated my birthday with them and every moment exceeded all my expectations. They make you feel like everything is created specially for you only (and partially it is :))

Most fun anniversary dinner ever! Last night my fiancé and I visited the house of food porn for our anniversary, and I couldn’t wait another minute to write this review. This place is a must in Miami. We walked in with no expectations and were blown away! From the mind blowing food to the intimate, unique and fun experience, this place has been added to one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Nikki and chef Frank have created a night where you can escape into what feels like a sexy living room of two very fun hosts. We were lucky that it was just us and another couple but this place can easily host a party of 14. Our six course meal was served with elegance and creativity while Nikki kept us hydrated and entertained. I left full, happy and ready to come back. Thank you both for a night we will never forget. See you soon!

One of a kind dining experience My wife and I had the six course menu on February 13th. The experience was exceptional! We were truly impressed with the combinations that were created for our dinner. Each course introduced us to a different culinary treat. We would strongly recommend going the next time you are in Miami.

If you feel adventurous and like to try new food, this is the place for you. An incredible place hidden from the busy streets, welcomed by a wonderful hostess, a setup made for a small crowd and private cooking in front of a charismatic and talented chef, shushi. A mix of incredible flavors that will trick your palate and overall and experience for all senses. Must go for any food lovers!!!

One year anniversary success My boyfriend and I were trying to think of a way to rate the loveliness of this dinner experience; “A diamond in the rough” is the worst way to describe this place. It’s a diamond already. 100% satisfaction from this party. We were skeptical at first, but had such a great time. Food was amazing!

We were greeted by a vivacious host who disarmed our initial sense of dislocation with her ethereal charm. The setting is small and designed to encourage interaction with your fellow diners - we instantly knew we would be on an adventure with a group of strangers who would become our friends for the evening. The food is ingeniously conceptualized and full of exotic flavors - best of all is that each course comes with a story. This is not just dinner; this is a voyage. Don't question the prices or the approach to booking, both of which are somewhat unconventional - you'll be thanking yourself that you stepped out of your comfort zone and tried something new and clever.

Excellent Dining Experience One of the most pleasant dining experiences I've ever had. I'm so thankful to Franco for exceeding all expectations on our taste buds, I expected some great sushi after seeing some pics other people had posted what I didnt expect was for SHUSHI to blow us all away the way it did ! Thankful to Nicky for being so easy to work with through email on coordinating my wife's surprise birthday party and to Luisa who stepped in for Nicky on our night and made sure we were all taken care of I dont ever remember seeing my wine glass less than full ever. For anyone reading this and trying to make a decision on whether they should go or not don't hesitate it just prolongs you from an excellent dining experience.

Excellent food and service! My wife and I had a beautiful and intimate dining experience at this cozy little restaurant where we enjoyed a unique 4-course shushi menu, where each course was a wonderful surprise paired with a spectacular red wine which we both really enjoyed! Simply amazing!! This is one of the hidden treasures in Miami, honestly I have never eaten better. Hidden in Little Haiti, awesome chef Frank was absolutely amazing and so kind-hearted. He created the concept of the world in roll and all is creations we had the pleasure to taste were UNIQUE AND MOUTHWATERING. Well experienced and knows what he's doing, the food presentation was out of this world. Our favorite was the Cuban roll, followed by the Caribbean and the Turkey Blast. The environment is cozy and intimate, the outside is artsy and totally Wynwoodish. Parking is available in the backyard. Great prices,great dishes, we ordered a 6 course tasting including a bottle of wine and a delicious dessert. Our host Nicky was a total sweetheart and the service was personalized and on point. Outstanding meal experience! An incredible, marvelous dinner experience. It almost makes me regret my previous five star ratings in Miami because this was head and shoulders above everything else.

First, be clear this is "Shushi" not sushi. Everything was a cooked type of roll. No raw fish.

Yet, the cuisine is a delicious fusion of cooked dishes, with a heavy Cuban influence, served in quasi-sushi type rolls. Ranging from lobster, shrimp, and langoustine to spicy smoked ahi, to a Wagyu beef finale, each was delicious.

The atmosphere was worthy of the stellar food. It was like a few people sitting around a family table served by a master chef. The hostess, Nikki, was warm and fun and friendly. She kept the champagne and wine glasses full and kept everyone in conversation while the chef, Frank, was at work.

Frank let everyone take a bite of each dish and offer guesses about what was in it before giving a full description. I and other guests managed to get a lot of ingredients correctly, but many were surprises.

The total experience made this the best meal I have had in Miami. Every Yelp review is five stars for a good reason.

Round 2 did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I visited HOFP last year for our anniversary and shared with our families. My brother and I decided we wanted to treat my dad to the experience for his birthday. He flew in from Chicago and we were so excited!

On his way home to get ready for dinner my brother unfortunately got in a car accident. Luckily he is okay thank goodness but waiting for the police and multiple tow trucks threw a wrench in our plans. I called Nicki and Chef Frank in such a frenzy because I know it is a menu and items created specifically for the number of guests each night.

They were so concerned about our family and knew how much it meant to us. I am so happy to report we were able to reschedule and it was well worth the wait. My brother changed his flight and we got to go on an evening when we could truly enjoy. The food is unreal and every time gets you surprised on the quality and art that goes into the creation. Chef Frank and the incredible food is only complimented by Nicki, her warm and contagious energy and the sincere care she gives to each guest. From setting up personally for you to making you feel right at home.

It is a really special experience with really special people.

My boyfriend also noted that the other guests that tend to be there are also so warm and engaging. In both experiences the group was intimate and the small group collective experience really adds to the atmosphere.

Best Dining Experience WOW. That is the first thing that comes to my mind. Dining at the House of Food Porn has been the best dining experience I have had in every expect. The food was phenomenal, the service was one of a kind, and the environment was beautifully unique. Nikki and Frankie are so amazing! You walk into their restaurant and Nikki greets you by your name and welcomes you into their home as if you were long time friends. Trust me, 10 minutes in you really feel like you are one of their friends. I had messaged Nikki previously to make sure that their restaurant was LGBTQ friendly, as I was going to be dining with my girlfriend. Nikki and Frankie were very welcoming of us and treated us like any other guest of theirs. If you are looking for somewhere to feel completely welcomed, this is the place. The unlimited wine is amazing, your glass will never go empty so definitely take an Uber/Lyft. I can honestly go on and on about this experience because that’s what it is, it’s not just dinner. No words to explain!!! Ohne Worte! Sin palabras! My husband Marco and I went yesterday evening and we were curious about this place. We are ‚foodies‘ and we enjoy good booze, food and service!
But this is nothing like you experience in any other setting:
The restaurant is cozy and so nicely decorated, Nicky and Luisa are doing an incredible and awesome service and never leave your glass empty!
And Chef Franco is simply entertaining: we were simply amazed by the food, its textures and the creativity.
We had such a fun night and so did the other couples.
I highly recommend this place for a good dinner or special occasions and I will recommend it to anyone we meet in Miami or who is planning to go there.
We‘ll come back for sure!
